Thirty for thirty

Thirty things to do while I'm thirty. If I publish them here I'm more likely to do them.

Edit: 25/12/2011 - my 31st is rapidly approaching. Update:
  1. Get healthy, including getting a GP fail
  2. Exercise regularly, first later with the assistance of a personal trainer super fail
  3. Eat healthily, cook regularly and take lunch to work I've changed my eating habits quite a bit, especially after reading Safran Foer's Eating Animals, Singer' The Ethics of What we Eat, some Michael Pollan and Mark Bittman and Frugavore by Arabella Forge
  4. Stop biting fingernails only when I'm wearing nail polish, which is against hospital uniform policy
  5. Floss everyday except when I'm utterly exhausted and fall asleep on the couch
  6. Cleanse and moisturise everyday, including eye cream generally, fail
  7. Do NaNoWriMo too much other stuff happened in November
  8. Get built-in shelves for living room they're gorgeous; must post pictures
  9. De-clutter closets half the kitchen and half the wardrobe are done and many bags of clothes have been donated
  10. Make macarons this week
  11. Travel overseas again Kota Kinabalu in July with the folks
  12. Save more, budget better I still don't budget but my savings keep going up, mortgage keeps going down and I've generally tried to buy less (just better quality and ethical)
  13. Donate at least 3% of pre-tax income to charity (not including the arts) easiest task
  14. Be happier, a la The Happiness Project the above have helped, although I haven't done a "project"
  15. Learn something new (a language, a sport, a craft) talking to dying people?
  16. Look into options for Post Graduate study relevant to my career
  17. Sleep enough hours every night due to aforementioned exhaustion
  18. Start dating fail
  19. Keep better contact with absent friends and family fail
  20. Try regular meditation fail
  21. Try regular yoga only if "twice" counts as "regular"
  22. Write online Perth visitor guide (unless someone else does it first) see design*sponge
  23. Make a zine it's a thought...
  24. Do jobs that have been undone for more than a year (change lightbulbs, hang knife rack, etc) thanks to my brother-in-law
  25. Reply to letters within a month, especially those from online friends fail
  26. Use my balcony and spend more time outdoors in general mainly the balcony and walking from public transport
  27. Use my swimming pool and gym and barbecue
  28. Use the library fail
  29. Limit non-work reading to 4 hours per day (books, blogs and magazines) fail fail fail
  30. Be less of a mega-bitch (less like Shannen Doherty's Heather in Heathers) people tell me I'm nice
