Blogger's wetdream
Photos of Real Living October 2009 Issue. Click to image to enlarge.
As soon as I saw this photo in the October 2009 Real Living magazine, I thought it was a total blogger's dream. It features blogger favourites:
- An inspiration wall;
- Typography;
- A vintage typewriter; and
- A trestle table.
I thought it would be all over the blogs but I couldn't find any pictures online (hence my dodgy photography). The room is from an apartment designed by Sydney graphic design company Frost*Design. This apartment is ideal for those who eat Alphabet Soup and wear these. Photography is by Damien Pleming, styling by Jason Grant (check out his interview on The Design Files) and words by Natalie Walton. Apparently you can "meet the rest of the creative team who designed this apartment" on the Real Living blog but currently there are no posts about the October issue. If you can, read a hard copy (there are some nice homes in there this month). In case you're overseas, here are a few more terrible photos of the Frost*Design feature:
I love the "pin" cushion and the customised pendant shades.
I'm not sure the "S" is particularly soothing, and the "Z" on the duvet cover probably has too many angles to satisfy feng shui devotees, but I think the apostrophes on the pillows are cute.
Update: there are (much) better photos here.

My mummy gave me apples...does she want me to stay away?
An apple a day
Keeps the doctor away so
You'd better stock up

Tonight I was glad to have a spare pair of glasses
Splosh! Into the bowl -
My favourite spectacles!
Who put that loo there?
