(another) Nice Package

As mentioned previously, I love a nice package. Oh, the stories I could (and will) tell about nice packages. While you're waiting for those, please visit A Gift Wrapped Life for instructions on how to make your package beautiful. To celebrate the opening of her new store, Sande (author of the blog) is having a giveaway of her extremely pretty package-preening products. Look at the packaging in the picture above! Puh-retty.

Stationery - how do i love thee?

Lynne, of the wonderful Tea for Joy blog, has opened a new stationery store called Papermash. To celebrate, she is giving away a year's supply of stationery to one lucky blog reader. A whole year of beautiful paper goods by independent designers. My favourite is this notebook for list-making (pictured above) but everything in her store (tape, cards, string, tags) is simply lovely. There is even a free section in the store (that's right, free stuff)! The store is based in the UK but the stuff is so pretty it's worth flying halfway around the world.

My best friend (hello from Perth)

Your smell is funny
Your hair sticks out when it grows
But I still love you

The evening's entertainment

Outside hospital,
So many gross fat people
Puffing on their smokes.

I am very tired

Healthy body and
Healthy mind. Neither of these
Can I claim as mine.

Burping, passing wind,
Snoring, sniffing, jerking off,
Drooling and scratching.

Not poor, just lazy

Dinner: cold baked beans
Straight from the can, followed by
A glass of water.

Target stop motion animation ad

I'm surprised Target Australia made an ad that's so...trendy. It beats those Target logos made into bras. Yes, they do appear to have borrowed the concept from the Her Morning Elegance video by Oren Lavie.

Performance poet:
Misunderstood genius
Or pretentious fool?

Re: The Stethoscope
It is not comfortable
To sit upon it.
